Who can describe Your greatness, O Virgin?

Who can describe Your greatness, O Virgin? You made God the Son of Man, and man – the son of God. You reconciled the world with its Creator. You taught us through experience that seeing is possible not only through the senses, and not even only through thought, but also through the purification of the mind and partaking of Divine grace, through which we delve deeper into God-like beauty and delight in it.

So let us preserve unity both with God and among ourselves. Let us always look toward Heaven. Let us learn not to cling to earth, because we no longer belong to earth. The first man was from earth, but we are from Heaven, like the Second Man – our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us lift our hearts to Heaven. Let us see this great spectacle, how our nature in an immaterial way enters into that same eternity where the Light of Divinity flows. Let each of us firmly dedicate ourselves to God and thereby prove the holiness of the earth on which we stand. Having done this, we will have the boldness to run with thirst toward the illumination by the highest Light of the tri-solar and single-source Radiance.’
