Each year, our parish hosts the ā€œFaces of Faithā€Ā Educational Seminar dedicated to the New Martyrs and Ascetic Strugglers of Piety of the 20th century. This year, instead, we are organizing a special film event - a screening of the documentary Where Are You, Adam?, followed by a Q&A / meeting with the producerĀ Protodeacon Alexander Plyska.

We warmly invite you to join us for this special screening. Filmed on Mount AthosĀ at the ancient Dochiariou Monastery, the film offers a quiet, unhurried look into the rhythm of monastic life - prayer, work, endurance, and inner watchfulness. The title echoes the words of Genesis 3:9, when, after the fall, God calls to Adam: ā€œWhere are you?ā€Ā This question is not asked because God lacks knowledge, but because He lovingly calls the human person out of hiding and back into truth. In a sense, it is a question addressed to each of us who has sinned: Where are you?

The film invites quiet reflection on repentance, healing, and return.
